Here’s another entry on the creative names of pets. Most people have very common pet names. Some people come up with some really unique names. I guess you could say I am part of the latter group.
Last year, I got a new dog. She’s a beautiful shetland sheepdog. She looks like a miniature collie. Anyway, I needed a name for her. I spent a great deal of time thinking about this before I came up with what I consider a very original name. I named my dog Sex. Little did I know it would become so embarrassing.
Yes, Sex has been very embarrassing to me. First, I went to the City Hall to get the dog’s license. I told the clerk that I would like a license for Sex. He said, “I would like to have one too!” I thought, no, you surely don’t have a pet named Sex too. Then I said, “But she is a dog!” He said he didn’t care what she looked like. I said, “You don’t understand. I have only had Sex since last week.”He replied, “Why did you wait so long.”
Then, my wedding was next. I told the minister that I would like to have Sex at the wedding. He told me to wait until after the wedding was over. I said, “But Sex is a big part of my life and my whole world now revolves around Sex.” He said he didn’t want to hear about my personal life and would not marry us in his church. I told him everyone would enjoy having Sex at the wedding.
The next day we were married at the Justice of the Peace. My family was barred from the church from then on. I really don’t know why. I am thinking that Sex has made things pretty interesting, and I’ve only had her a little while. I can’t wait to see what Sex will bring in the years ahead.
